KODAK APPROVAL NX and XP Digital Color Imaging Systems are a complete suite of hardware, software and consumable materials to create color proofs accurately and consistently predicting process, spot and metallic colors for litho offset, flexographic or gravure printing.
KODAK APPROVAL provides the greatest possible confidence in predicting color and appearance of the final printed piece, including both traditonal flat sheets as well as finished, 3-dimensional packages.

  • Create 3-dimensional package mockup proofs with appearance identical to the final product on the store shelf
  • True halftone quality color proofing offering high resolutions of 2400 or 2540 dpi
  • KODAK RECIPE COLOR Technology provides color halftone dots for spot colors, including both color and screening charactistics (e.g., dot shape and angles)
  • Produce color proofs on a wide range of packaging substrate materials, including cardboard, plastics, metal, poly or shrink-wrap
  • Proof CMYK process, spot, brand and custom colors, each appearing as a true color separation with accurate color and correctly screened dots
  • KODAK RAPID RECIPE COLOR Technology automatically calculates efficient use of KODAK APPROVAL Digital Donors, imaging up to four (4) different densities of both process and spot colors using a single sheet of Digital Donor material
  • Extended gamut color donors (orange, green, blue) and specialty white and metallic donors yield outstanding color range and special effects
  • Easily integrates into leading industry workflows, including KODAK PRINERGY Powerpack
